Wexford’s Festy Ebosele signs with new football team

Enniscorthy footballer Festy Ebosele has joined a new team…

The 24-year-old Republic of Ireland international spent the previous season with İstanbul Başakşehir, making 20 appearances across all competitions and scoring once.

Ebosele has now made the move to newly promoted Erzurumspor, joining the Turkish club as they prepare for life back in the Süper Lig for the 2026/27 season.

The Wexford native began his senior career with Derby County before moving to Italian side Udinese. He has also spent time on loan with Watford before making the move to Turkey.

Ebosele has earned 14 Republic of Ireland caps and will now be hoping to make an impact with Erzurumspor as he continues his career in Turkish football.

The move represents another chapter in an increasingly international career for the Wexford footballer, who has risen from Enniscorthy to competing at the highest level of Turkish football.
