There’s an array of excellent things to do in Wexford to make you fall in love with the county…
One person who always shines a positive light on the county is Wexford man and former Irish international football player, Kevin Doyle.
In conjunction with OLBG, we caught up with the Wexford man to discuss a variety of topics. One question we posed to Kevin was simply “what’s your favourite thing about Wexford?”.
“Favourite thing about Wexford? It’s home for me. It’s got great beaches and it’s just a nice place to live. Without being hours away from airports or anything like that, it’s a good location with good people who are massively into sport.”
“The whole county is into every sport, you go to a soccer pitch, GAA pitch, or rugby pitch, and the places are packed every weekend.”
“It’s just a great place. I have kids, and it’s a great place to bring up kids, which is why I moved back here. I lived in England and America and different places, but I always wanted to move home. Most Wexford people do, I think. It’s just a nice place to live,” he told Wexford Weekly.
