A popular children’s play centre in Gorey is to close its doors later this month after 19 years in business…
Kidzone, located at Gorey Business Park, announced the news in a statement shared on its Facebook page, confirming that its final day of trading will be Sunday, November 29, 2026.
“After 19 incredible years, we are closing our doors for the final time, bringing a very special chapter to an end,” business owners Seán and Veronica Keane said.
The owners also thanked the families and children who had visited the centre over the years, as well as everyone who had helped make the business what it was.
“It has been a pleasure being part of so many people’s childhood memories, and we are incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received throughout the years,” the statement added.
A special tribute was also paid to the staff who had worked at Kidzone during its 19 years of operation, with the owners praising their hard work, dedication and commitment.
The announcement marks the end of an era for the Gorey business, which has provided a place for children and families to enjoy over almost two decades.
