Inter-county hurling will return to our television screens this Sunday – and the Yellowbellies are back in action…
Davy Fitzgerald’s Model charges will face reigning All-Ireland champions Limerick in the now annual Super 11’s event, the Fenway Hurling Classic, which takes place in Boston’s famous Red Sox stadium.
It’s great news for Wexford fans hoping for a quiet Sunday in, as Irish television broadcaster TG4 are broadcasting all the action live.
Sunday’s Super 11’s live line-up on TG4 is as follows:
A) 5:45pm Clare v Cork (semi-final)
B) 6:50pm Limerick v Wexford (semi-final)
C) 8:10pm Winners of A vs Winners of B (final)
This Sunday, Wexford hurling champions Naomh Eanna face Kilkenny kingpins Ballyhale Shamrocks in the Leinster Senior club hurling semi-final in Wexford Park at 1:30pm.
Thankfully, we’ll be able to get to the Park – and be home in time for the Fenway Hurling match on TG4.
