TG4 To Broadcast The Wexford Vs Clare Allianz League Hurling Match This Weekend

This Allianz Hurling League clash could be one for the ages…

After defeating Eddie Brennan’s Laois last weekend in O’Moore Park, Wexford will now face Clare on Sunday in Round 2 of the Allianz National Hurling League.

The build up for the clash is sure to revolve around former Clare team-mates and now managers of the respective counties involved, both Davy Fitzgerald and Brian Lohan.

Although they were a formiddable goalkeeping and full-back partnership on the hurling field, the pair have an unfortunate history off the hurling field damaging their friendship.

The sidelines will certainly be interesting, which will be sure to add to the tension of the tie.

We can now confirm that Irish television broadcaster TG4 will broadcast Sunday’s game.

It will be a defferred broadcast, which is due to begin at 3:45pm. For those attending the game, remember that the ball will be thrown in at 2pm at Wexford Park.

Ahead of the Wexford game, with coverage starting at 1:30pm, TG4 will be broadcasting the Limerick vs Galway Allianz Hurling League game live.
