Concern As 23 New Cases Of Covid-19 Recorded In Wexford Yesterday

This may have went somewhat under the radar…

Following this evening’s statement from the Department of Health, the newest data shows that Wexford had a sharp increase of confirmed coronavirus cases yesterday.

Yesterday, Wexford had an increase of 23 new Covid-19 cases.

It’s concerning for the people of Wexford as the news comes after 14 new cases of the virus were confirmed following the release of yesterday’s data. It’s even more concerning for Wexford people when we consider the limited number of ICU beds that were vacant at Wexford General Hospital recently.

The Government’s statement today did not say if Wexford had any positive Covid-19 cases today, however, it did confirm that the HPSC has been notified of 506 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and one new death across the Republic of Ireland.
