On a day when the Republic of Ireland confirmed an additional 1012 cases of Covid-19, Wexford was always going to see a rise…

Wexford Weekly can now confirm that Wexford saw an increase of 23 new and confirmed cases yesterday .
This was revealed following this evening’s press briefing and with the Government’s release of their statement, which updated the county-by-county table.
Today , the HPSC has been notified of 814 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the Republic of Ireland.
Of the cases notified today:
432 are men / 381 are women
70% are under 45 years of age
The median age is 32 years old
226 cases in Dublin, 77 in Cork, 64 in Galway, 56 in Donegal, 48 in Meath and the remaining 343 cases are spread across all remaining counties.
It is unclear whether Wexford saw an increase following this evening’s statement as per above. However, if previous trends are to be analysed, we should expect another rise in the number of cases in the county following tomorrow’s statement which will update the county-by-county table.
