RTE To Broadcast The Wexford Vs Galway Match On Halloween Night

RTE will be broadcasting the Wexford vs Galway match on Halloween night…

Davy Fitzgerald’s Wexford and the current Leinster champions will face Galway in the Leinster hurling semi-final on Halloween night, October 31st.

The Leinster semi-final will take place in Croke Park at 6:15pm.

Meanwhile, Wexford Weekly can confirm that two players from Davy Fitzgerald’s Wexford Senior hurling squad and four players from Shane Roche’s Wexford Senior football squad have tested positive for Covid-19 after recent rapid testing.

Here’s hoping that the game will still go ahead given the rising Covid-19 cases across the Republic of Ireland.

Wexford’s Chairman Derek Kent has reiterated that Wexford will be fielding a team for the eagerly-anticipated Leinster semi-final clash, while manager Davy Fitzgerald has noted that all players want to play, despite the circumstances.

The match will be broadcast live on RTE at 6:15pm.

Given the current doom and gloom climate, it’s certainly something to look forward to for all GAA fans across the country.
