Was It You? The Lotto Has Been Won In Wexford Again

It’s great to report some positive news…

According to BreakingNews.ie, a lotto player in Wexford was just one number off the €2 million jackpot on Saturday evening, but they still managed to claim €108,714.

The lucky winner has not yet come forward to claim their Match 5 + Bonus prize.

Lotto players across Wexford and specifically across the Kilmuckridge area are urged to check their tickets. Given the 5km Covid-19 travel restrictions that are currently in place, it’s likely that the winner of last night’s draw is a local winner.

The National Lottery have confirmed the ticket was purchased on Friday, January 29th at Hammel’s Centra store in Kilmuckridge, Wexford.

It’s the second time in quick succession that Hammel’s of Kilmuckridge have sold a winning lotto ticket. At the start of December, Hammel’s sold the winning lotto ticket to a local syndicate group, where the syndicate claimed over €500,000.
