The Wexford Ladies Footballers Have A New Manager

After their relegation to Division 3, the Wexford Ladies Senior Football manager resigned from his position..

Paul Carty resigned from his position as Wexford Ladies Football manager two weeks ago.

The news came shortly after the Wexford Ladies Footballers were relegated to Division 3 of the National Football League following a comprehensive loss to Tyrone.

Since then, the Wexford Ladies Football Management Committee had been on the hunt for a new manager to replace Carty in his role.

Now, they’ve placed their trust in Lizzy Kent who will take on the role on an interim basis.

Kent, who played with the Wexford Ladies Footballers, also has an array of experience working as a coach across the world. Recently, she has coached underage teams for the Wexford Youths women, while she has also coached the Irish women’s u-19 teams.

The Wexford Ladies Footballers get their Championship campaign underway next Sunday when they face Sligo.

We wish Lizzy all the best in her new role.
