Saturday Will Be A Great Day For Wexford GAA Fans

This Saturday has the makings of a great day of sport for Wexford GAA fans..

On Sunday last, the Oulart-The Ballagh Senior camogie team defeated Derry’s Slaughtneil in the delayed 2020 All-Ireland Senior Club Camogie Championship.

They have now made it into the All-Ireland Senior Camogie final, where they’ll be playing Sarsfields of Galway. That game will take place this Saturday. RTE have confirmed that they will be broadcasting the game live on TV.

The Oulart-The Ballagh vs Sarsfields Camogie All-Ireland final is scheduled for RTE2 at 1:30pm.

It’s not the only big game of interest this weekend that will interest Wexford GAA fans though.

After Shelmaliers defied the odds to overcome Naomh Mairtin of Louth, they now have a Leinster semi-final to play for. They’ll be facing Kildare champions, Naas, in Croke Park.

Just like with the Camogie final, the Shels game will also be broadcasted live by RTÉ. That game will also take place on Saturday, with throw-in scheduled for 3:15pm on RTÉ2.

If any day called to sit back, relax and enjoy the sport as a Wexford sports fan, it’s this one.
