The 2022 Leinster Minor Hurling Championship is divided into two tiers with the Wexford alongside Dublin and Kilkenny in the top section, while Kildare, Offaly and Laois have been placed in Tier 2.

Meanwhile, the Leinster hurling draw also revealed the opponents for the Wexford u-20 side for the upcoming season. Just like with the minors, they are also under the new management team, led by a former Wexford hurling great.
