Two Wexford Hurlers Named On GAA’s Team Of The Week

Two Wexford Senior hurlers have been named on the GAA.ie team of the week

St Martins club man, Rory O’Connor, has once again made his way onto the team.

O’Connor has been named in the wing-forward position on the team.

O’Connor was the star of the show against Offaly, scoring one of the ‘best goals of all time’ in Chadwicks Wexford Park. O’Connor was also nominated as one of the three players of the week, however, he was beaten by Waterford’s Stephen Bennett.

Meanwhile, Rapparees club-man Kevin Foley was named in the midfield position.

Two solid performances against the Faithful County last weekend has placed them into the starting team.
