Wexford Man Guides Bray Emmets To AIB Leinster Intermediate Club Hurling Title

Bray Emmets of Wicklow were crowned Leinster Intermediate Hurling Champions yesterday…

After defeating Glenealy in a replay of the Wicklow Senior Hurling Championship Final, Bray Emmet’s attention turned towards the Leinster Intermediate Club Championship.

Yesterday, in the AIB Leinster Intermediate Club Championship final, Trim of Meath stood in their way in the Leinster Final, but Bray Emmets came out on top, winning on a score line of 0-17 to 0-11.

A Wexford man, former Wexford hurler and Glynn-Barntown player, Paul Carley, helped to guide the team to success, acting as the team’s manager.

Paul Carley has been involved with Bray for four years and although he has won multiple club championships with them, this is by far his biggest managerial success with the Wicklow side.

Limerick’s Monaleen await Carley’s men in next weekend’s All-Ireland Intermediate club semi-final which will be played in Tullamore on Sunday at 1pm.
