One Wexford Player Named On GAA’s Hurling Team Of The Week

The Wexford Senior hurlers defeated Westmeath in Mullingar last weekend…

Wexford won a score-line of 2-23 to 1-15 at Pearse Park.

Conor Hearne, who is a relatively new member of the Senior set-up, has been named in midfield on the GAA’s official hurling team of the week.

In the Westmeath match, Hearne finished with 3 points from play while he was involved with an array of other scores.

The Wexford man was one of Wexford’s best performers over the weekend – and there’s no doubt that he deserved the recognition.

While the win will be viewed as a positive as they prepare for their next match against Clare, Wexford fans will be concerned about the news that Lee Chin will be out for the remainder of the Allianz Hurling League campaign.
