It’s not often that a video from Wexford goes viral…
But when they do, you can be guaranteed that it’s a good one.
That is the case for TJ Murphy’s in Enniscorthy. Last year, four lads were in the popular Enniscorthy pub having a few drinks in the beer garden.
The viral video shows the four lads sitting on the bench outside before the bench flips over on them, making them all fall backwards with their drinks spilling all over them. And the beautiful thing was that it was all captured on CCTV footage.
TJ Murphy’s decided to re-share the video for its one-year anniversary.
Little did they know though that the re-share would make it become a viral sensation.
At the time of writing, TJ Murphy’s confirmed to Wexford Weekly that the video has now surpassed 3.5 million views on their platform, with over 3.3 million views coming in over the last three days. The funny video on Facebook has also received over 56k likes on the social media platform.
Speaking about the viral video, they said:
