Irish weather forecaster, Met Éireann, have issued the warning for Wexford and for the whole of Ireland.

It comes after both Wexford and the whole of Ireland has been hit with high temperatures.

The Irish weather forecaster has predicted that it will be:

“Very warm and humid weather on Thursday and Friday. Daytime temperatures in excess of 27 degrees in many areas away from coasts with night time temperatures not falling below 15 degrees,” they have predicted.

Some potential impacts of the weather include heat stress, uncomfortable sleeping conditions, and a risk of water related incidents.

With the warm weather, it is also advisable to look after your pets at home and to ensure that they have adequate water available to them.

With the hot weather expected to continue, the warning is valid from Thursday to Saturday morning.
