Tickets for Wexford’s opening Leinster Senior hurling clash against Dublin go on sale

Tickets for the opening round of the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship were placed on public sale today…

Wexford will take on Dublin in the opening round of the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship.

Dublin have defeated Wexford in the previous two seasons. Last year, many believed that Wexford left the game behind them, missing an array of scoring opportunities.

After almost being relegated last year only for a miraculous win against Kilkenny in the final round of the Round Robin, Wexford will be hoping for progress this year.

Despite losing out to Cork in their most recent outing in the Allianz Hurling League, Wexford and their supporters will be happy with their progress to date under Keith Rossiter in his first year in charge of the Wexford Senior hurling team.

They were victorious in the Walsh Cup and they secured Division 1A status for next year in the Allianz Hurling League, which can only be seen as a positive.

Wexford’s opening clash against Dublin, which takes place at Chadwicks Wexford Park on Sunday 21st April, has been dubbed as one of the most important games of Wexford’s season.

Tickets have been released on sale this morning for the clash.

Covered stand tickets cost €25, while terrace tickets and the open stand tickets cost €15 per adult. Juvenile tickets cost €5. OAP tickets cost €15 euro for both the covered stand and for the uncovered stand and terraces.

Tickets are now available to purchase online via Ticketmaster.
