Wexford performed excellently throughout the match and we recently looked at the major talking points from the game. A straight-red card to Cian Byrne mid-way through the second half didn’t deter them.
It was an excellent win for the Model County, who have now revived their Championship hopes with away games against Carlow and Kilkenny still to come in their final two matches.

To Wexford’s delight, Wexford will have two weeks to recover before their next clash. Their next clash takes place in Dr Cullen Park against Carlow, a team that will fighting with tooth and nail to ensure they secure their Liam McCarthy status for next year.
