Recurring social meetup for remote and hybrid workers in Wexford to take place

Grow Remote Wexford has announced recurring social meetup for remote and hybrid workers….

The free event is scheduled for the third Friday of every month. The next upcoming meetup will be held at The Sky and The Ground in Wexford town, from 18:00 to 21:00, offering attendees the opportunity to mingle, share experiences, and explore new avenues. The first event will be held on 17th May.

As part of the wider Grow Remote network, their mission is to foster connections among professionals in the remote work community while spotlighting the abundant opportunities available in Co. Wexford.

As a token of appreciation, a complimentary drink will be provided to all registered participants. In addition to our regular social gatherings, they organise outdoor activities such as beach and forest walks, fostering stronger community bonds and supporting local businesses.

With the rise of remote and hybrid work arrangements, connecting with peers in person has become increasingly challenging. Their events serve as a bridge, providing a welcoming platform for social interaction and networking.

Recent data from the Central Statistics Office (CSO) underscores the growing prevalence of remote work in Wexford town, with 20% of working individuals opting for remote or hybrid setups. This trend highlights the need for community support and engagement, which our events aim to address.
