
An array of Wexford gymnasts claimed prizes and international recognition recently…
Aoibheann Ryan, Aoife Gough and Ava Broaders all won gold at the Burgas International Acro Cup in Bulgaria less than two weeks ago.
This trio have been on Irish National team for the previous two years and their hard work is starting to pay off on the International stage, building on their 8th placed position in the European Championships last October.
There are further congratulations Katie Nolan, Eve Kinsella and Aoibheann Dunne for making the finals at age group level and to Sarah Murphy, Katie Mornay and Nykia Quigley for making finals at junior level.


The following Wexford gymnasts had success on the national stage, held in Dublin last weekend:
- Highest FIG artistry trophy : Sarah Murphy, Nykia Quigley , Katie Moran
- Highest FIG execution score : Aoibhe Ormonde & Emma Gaffney
- Highest NDP artistry , Ella White , Rugby Cosgrove and Pippa fortune
- Senior WG champions Ellen O Brien , Aoife Gough ,Ava Boaders
- Junior WG champions Sarah , Nykia and Katie
- Silver -Mair Williams, Eimear Gough , Laura Wade
- Junior Men’s Pair champions -Aaran Byrne & Tj Fenlon
- 12-18 WP champions Aoibhe Ormonde and Emma Gaffney
- IDP WG champions -Katie Nolan, Aoibheann Ryan and Eve Kinsella
- 11-16 silver -Katie Byrne , lily Kehoe and Ciara Kane
- Grade 4 Bronze – Kate Higgins, Zara Quigley , Millie Dwyer
- Grade 2 champions -Alice May Doyle & Eve Cranny
