The Wexford Senior hurlers will return to action this evening (Thursday)…
Fresh from their recent win over Laois in the opening round of the Walsh Cup, the Wexford Senior hurlers now have a quarter-final to look forward to against Dublin.
The Wexford vs Dublin clash in the Walsh Cup will take place at the Oulart-The Ballagh GAA pitch, with throw-in set for 7:30pm. For those attending the game, parking is available at the lower Oulart pitch while tickets must be purchased online and in advance.
The match will also be streamed on live-streaming platform, Clubber TV.
Wexford Senior hurling manager, Keith Rossiter, has named his side to take on Dublin.

The team named is a similar team to the one which defeated Laois last weekend with a big focus on youth and embedding fresh blood into the panel. Rapparees’ hurler Kevin Foley is the only long-standing member remaining on the starting fifteen. Richie Lawlor has been named at the centre-back position, while Fethard’s Eoin Whelan – who has returned from a spell on the sidelines – is getting more gametime in the full-back position.
Some of Wexford’s key players from the previous campaigns are unavailable. Charlie McGuckin, Eoin Ryan, and Rory O’Connor have all opted out of the panel to go travelling, while the likes of Lee Chin, Jack O’Connor, Conor McDonald, Shane Reck, Damien Reck, Cathal Dunbar, and Conor Hearne remain unavailable too.
