We’ve a lot of excellent dairy farmers here in Wexford…

The National Dairy Awards for 2024 will take this evening, Thursday 13 June, in the Midlands Park Hotel Portlaoise, Co. Laois.

The National Dairy awards celebrate the primary producers, the artisan producers, sector services and the dairy processors as an industry collective.

Three Wexford farmers are up for awards across various categories.

Farmers Eamon and Cathal Devereux, Co. Wexford will be vying for the Animal Health award. They will be competing against three other farmers.

Meanwhile, two Wexford dairy farmers have also been placed into the final for the ‘Dairy Farm Manager’ award category. They include Michael Bryson, Co. Wexford and Kevin O’Hanlon, Co. Wexford. They’ll be Emmet Predergast of Waterford and Patrick Dunne of Meath.
