There’s plenty of things to do in Wexford this summer, but if you just fancy a nice pint or a night out with your family or friends, then a place with a good beer garden is always a good shout…
Over the course of the previous 10 days as part of the “Wexford’s Best” campaign, we ran a poll on our Facebook page to find out Wexford’s best beer garden for 2024.
This topic, Wexford’s Best Beer Gardens in 2024, was proudly sponsored by Jack’s Tavern located in the village of Camolin.

Over 120 people voted in the free social media poll. All they had to do was to write the name of their favourite beer garden in the comments section underneath the original post. The comments were then exported and counted. Here are the results – as voted by you!
5) Culleton’s of Kilrane
Culleton’s is located in the village of Kilrane in Rosslare. Along with having an excellent food menu and live music on every weekend, Culleton’s of Kilrane also boast an excellent beer garden for all to enjoy. It has everything on offer. It’s the perfect place to mix with locals, enjoy the craic, or to stop during your travels to Rosslare.

4) Quigley’s Bar, Kilmore
Another popular choice is Quigley’s Bar located in Kilmore in Wexford. It’s viewed as another perfect place to enjoy a few drinks and to catch up with friends and family. Their Guinness here is worth trying and you won’t be let down!

3) Brownes, Gorey
It’s the first time that Browne’s in Gorey has made its way onto a Wexford Weekly list, but it’s no surprise to see them appearing here either. Over the past number of months, they have renovated their outdoor area to compliment the excellent renovations that were completed inside. This new beer garden has quickly become a hit with locals around the town as they grab a drink and chat about absolutely everything as the sun glares down.

2) Foley’s of Newbawn
In this poll, Foley’s of Newbawn took shy of 12% of all votes. The fact that it continues to do well in our online public polls says a lot about the premises and how it’s operated. Their customers love this place and they want to show it appreciation! It’s easy to understand why too as they’re able to soak in the scenic green areas as they sip away on a few pints.

1) Jack’s Tavern, Camolin
Claiming half of the votes on the public poll, Jack’s Tavern has been handed the title of Wexford’s best beer garden for 2024. They have done extensive work to their outdoor area and beer garden over the last three years. The place has become a hive for activity in recent times. It was an investment that definitely has paid off for the local village pub that attracts customers from all over Wexford. Later this month, in their ‘Outback’, they will be welcoming popular Glasgow singer Katelin Tierney who will perform in front of a large crowd which is sure to be another excellent night out in this beer garden!
