It’s the start of a good day and the upcoming weekend for this Wexford native…

It comes as the news has came in that a Wexford native has won the jackpot on Today FM’s Cash Machine.

It was revealed on the hit radio station this afternoon that Wexford local Brian Sinnott, from the village of Camolin in County Wexford, has won 100,000 euro after winning the Cash Machine.

Speaking live on air, he said he was “a bit shocked alright…”

Brian entered the competition on Tuesday and he said he has “put plenty of thought into what he’ll do with the winnings.” He said with the winnings he will now be able to “pay off a few debts and a hape of stuff.”

Entries for the competition cost €2.50. Entrants need to stay close to the phone and state the number of the cash machine to win the prize.

It’s the biggest win in the competition since a Carlow woman named Sharon Pender won over 200,000 euro last month, on June 21st 2024.
