An incredible new gym is to open its doors in Gorey, Wexford soon….
Th gym, which is called ‘Nebula’, is owned by Wexford man, Dave Lee.
This project has been a long time coming for Dave, working on it in the background for over a year to make it the perfect place for gym-goers. No short-cuts have been taken.
He issued the first update to the public on Nebula on Tuesday, July 16th.
“We have the floor in now. Over the last while, the floor was the only thing that stopped us from making some headway. The original floor wasn’t level and that wasn’t suitable for gym purposes. We’re at a place now where we can start to work.”
“We’re currently in the middle of cleaning the place down and getting the place prepped for paint. Our next step then will be to get our impact floor down and get our reception and changing rooms in.”
Their kit selection will feature brands like Cybex, Atlantis, Panatta, Life Fitness, Magnum, Nautilus and Arsenal.
“Over the last year, we’ve been collecting non-stop. We’ve basically collected equipment from all over the world. We can’t wait to show you.”
Membership details were released to the public on Wednesday. It costs €10 for Pay as you go customers, €50 founding members offer, €60 recurring monthly, €40 for student memberships recurring monthly, €325 for 6 months up front, and €599 for 12 months up front.
“The gym will not be over-ran, so we’re going to limit the gym to 500 members in its first year,” Dave said.
Regarding an opening date, gym-goers will not have to wait too long as it’s due to open later this Summer, which is really just around the corner.
“We’re hoping to open some stage in August, or late July. ”
