
Wexford FC are enjoying an excellent run in the FAI Senior Cup…
After their dominant 3-0 win against Ballyfermot in their last clash, Wexford FC are now into the quarter-finals of the FAI Senior Cup.
The draw, which was made live on YouTube on Tuesday afternoon, has revealed Wexford FC’s opponents for the quarter-final and the Wexford club will be happy.
They have been drawn at home to Treaty United, a Limerick side which currently sits in 8th in League of Ireland First Division.
Of all the other clubs in the draw, Treaty United were probably the preferred choice for many supporters given the strenght of some of the other teams. The fact that it’s a home clash for Wexford FC will be further good news for the team and supporters of the club.
Quarter final pairings:
UCD AFC v Bohemians
Athlone Town AFC v Drogheda United FC
Wexford FC v Treaty United FC
Derry City FC v Shelbourne FC
The games are fixtured in to be played the week ending Sunday, 15th September.
