Wexford’s Tadhg Furlong in talks for a big move to France

Wexford’s Tadhg Furlong could be on the move…

The Ireland and Leinster Rugby prop may opt to move abroad to play rugby for the upcoming season.

Reports coming out of France have suggested that the Wexford man is in talks with French Top 14 side, Aviron Bayonnais, a club based in Bayonne which is a city in Southwestern France

The report comes via French rugby journalist Tanguy Scigala, who is the founder and editor of the rugby website rugbyprime.com.

Only aged 31, Furlong is considered one of the best props in world rugby and he would be a huge coup for the French side, should they come to an agreement. On the other hand, he would be a significant loss for Leinster, should they not be able to hold on to his worldwide-known name.
