Teenage Wexford FC player scores after just 19 seconds against Treaty United

The stock continues to rise for this young Wexford footballer…

Young Wexford FC player, Kaylem Harnett, made an instant impact when he came on off the bench in their League clash against Limerick side, Treaty United.

Harnett was a second-half substitute for Keddy’s Wexford FC side, making his way onto the field on the 77th minute mark. Just 19 seconds later on the clock, it was the young teenage sensation that found the net after a scramble to put Wexford FC in the driving seat, in a game where they would see out to win 3-1. It was a big win for Wexford, as they are now four points clear in the play-offs.

Wexford FC will be hoping to replicate their success when they meet the same side – Treaty United – in their FAI Senior Cup quarter-final clash. A win against Treaty United, which takes place at home, will see Wexford FC up against one of the big hitters of Irish football.
