It’s safe to say that the 2024 Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann was a great success…
People from all over the country and in fact, all over the world, praised Wexford for being excellent hosts for the Fleadh.
The Fleadh itself generated approximately €60 million for the local economy and with the number of acts and attendees at the week-long music celebration, it was stated that “Wexford will go down as one of the great Fleadhs of all time.”
The brilliant news is that Wexford will be hosting the Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann in 2025 once again.
And although 2024 is just over, preparations have already begun for 2025.
The Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann committee in Wexford have confirmed the dates for next year’s music celebration.
The dates have been confirmed and it will take place from August 3rd to August 10th 2025.

Roads & hold ups were a nightmare!
Absolute nightmare for locals!
Local residents had to put up with disgraceful behaviour of people being rowdy at night using trees in nearby estates as toilets and parking in private estates blocking access using it as a carpark and camper van site with no considerstion for residents we were locked out of our town for the fleadh. Disgraceful to have to endure this again for greedy council and bar owners to make obscene amounts of money with no respect or consultation with locals. Shameful not a good experience.
Great news for the county and all involved in this project.
Who got the 60million,local got screwed in the inconvenience.It was just a drinking secession.
