
A Wexford GAA club has raised an excellent amount for charity…
Naomh Eanna GAA Club, based in Gorey town, raised a fantastic amount for Ronald McDonald House charity.
They raised funds from their U-10 Boy’s Gaelic football blitz which was held at their GAA grounds on Saturday, August 31st 2024.
An excellent €4,776.66 was raised from the tournament and was then presented to Ronald McDonald house. Some money came from local businesses that helped to sponsor the event, while more money was raised on the day during the tournament.

The U-10 Naomh Eanna coach was Eric Cullen. Eric personally knows about the importance of the charity and said:
“I understand the important of the Ronald McDonald House and the roll it has played in the past and will in the future for many of our members and families in our community in keeping families close during difficult times,” he said.
