
A family from Wexford has produced and starred in a a new film….
The new film titled “The Nativity” will soon be available for all to view free online this Christmas. The Nativity is suitable for children and for all age groups and films like this never loose its universal appeal.
Our film starts with the arrival of Joseph and Mary to Bethlehem, the journey of the wise men and the shepherds. Scenes of Joseph preparing the cave for the birth, the actual birth, the shepherds with the Holy Family and ends with arrival of the three wise men.
The hope is that the film will remind people of the true meaning of Christmas spent with loved ones. According to Thomas McCormack, “it is Christmas through the eyes of seven children and their parents.”
The entire McCormack family, based in the village of Oylegate in County Wexford, cast may have produced film history by Directing, Producing, Narration, Scripting, Editing, Film & Photography and Music. The entire film and music is performed by the McCormack family.

The Nativity is adapted and is based on the writings of Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich who had a major influence on Mel Gibson’s epic film: The Passion of the Christ. Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich who was shown visions in the early 1800’s on the entire life of Jesus from birth to death and to this day captures the attention of many around the world.
