Odds released for General Election seats in new Wicklow-Wexford constituency

The General Election in Ireland isn’t far away now…

The General Election in Ireland will take place on Friday, November 29, 2024.

There is a new constituency this year which conjoins both South Wicklow and North Wexford, namely the Wicklow/Wexford constituency.

Irish bookmaker, Boylesports, have delved into the market and they have released odds on the candidates chances of getting elected.

Based on the bookies’ odds, five people have a great chance of taking one of the three seats available. In the eyes of the bookies, those people will definitely not be Ann Walsh from the Green Party or Sinead Boland representing Aontú.

Odds:

Brian Brennan, FG, 1/3

Malcolm Byrne, FF, 1/3

Fionntain O’Suilleabhain, SF, 2/5

Peir Leonard, Ind, 4/7

Pat Kennedy, FF, 10/11

Ann Walsh, Green, 33/1

Sinead Boland, Aontu, 50/1

Meanwhile, in related political betting news, the Wexford town General Election odds are currently being revised after Mick Wallace announced that he will be running.
