Odds released for Rathnure to win Leinster Intermediate Championship this weekend

For followers of the hurling club scene, excitement is building ahead of this weekend…

Rathnure have been placed into a Leinster Intermediate Hurling final after they defeated the Wicklow champions in the semi-final of the competition.

Rathnure St Annes won on a score-line of 1-21 to 2-14, with a four point margin over the Wicklow kingpins who have won 6-in-a-row of Wicklow Senior Hurling titles.

They will now take on the Kilkenny Intermediate Hurling champions, Lisdowney, in the Leinster hurling final. The match has been scheduled for this weekend, Sunday December 1st, and the Wexford side have been handed home-advantage.

The bookies have weighed in on the match and the major bookmakers have released their odds for the Leinster Intermediate Club hurling final. They are viewing the Kilkenny champions as favourites for the clash, despite Rathnure’s home advantage.

The match will take place at Wexford Park, with throw-in at 1:30pm.
