Kayak stolen from Slaney Search & Rescue in Wexford

This is an absolutely shocking thing to do…

Imaging steeping so low that you don’t just steal – but you steal from those who are saving lives? That’s exactly what has happened here.

A kayak has been stolen from the premises of Slaney Search & Rescue, who do trojan work saving lives, leading search operations for missing people, and doing everything they can to help families in need.

Gardaí in Wexford released a statement to the media on Wednesday confirming the theft and they are now looking for anyone with information to come forward:

“A Kayak very similar to this has been stolen from the compound of Slaney Search and Rescue and it is believed that the suspects released it back out onto the River Slaney.”

“If anybody has seen a Kayak similar to this along the River Slaney can they contact Enniscorthy Garda Station on 053 924 2580 or the garda confidential on 1800 666 111,” the Wexford Garda statement said.
