A stationary speed camera will be put in place in one area of Wexford…
Unlike the Speed Vans and the GoSafe Vans, the static speed camera will remain in place and will always track the driver’s speed.
The static speed camera will be in place on the Arklow Road, north of Gorey town, and will be featured close to Green’s Berry Farm, in proximity to the roundabout as people coming out of Gorey head towards the M11 towards Dublin.

For your own convenience, the exact location has been pinned on the Google Maps below:
The static speed camera will be in place for 18 months. This speed camera is one of nine that have been placed across the country. The nine static speed cameras are being funded from the Garda budget at a cost of approximately €2.4 million over the next 18 months.
The locations of the nine static speed cameras are as follows:
Galway, N59, between Moycullen and Galway City
Waterford, N25, between Glenmore and Luffany
Wexford, R772, Arklow Road, Aske, north of Gorey
Donegal, N14, east of Letterkenny
