It’s not often that the Premier Division champs visit Wexford…
But that will be the case next month as Wexford FC get their pre-season underway.
Wexford FC announced that they will be hosting Premier Division champions, Shelbourne, at Ferrycarrig Park next month.
It will be for a pre-season friendly. The match, hosted at Ferrycarrig Park, will take place on Saturday January 25th at 6pm.
Tickets for the match cost €10.
A big crowd is expected to show up; not only to see the Premier Division champions in action, but also to cheer on Wexford FC and their new management team under the stewardship of former Manchester City player and Republic of Ireland international, Stephen Elliot.
It’ll be an excellent chance for Wexford FC to show what they’re about under their new management and an opportunity for players to shine against tough opposition, managed by former Chelsea player and Republic of Ireland player, Damien Duff.
