A brand-new e-vending machine shop has opened up in Wexford…
It’s the first of its kind not only for Wexford, but for Ireland as a whole.
The new shop is called E-Kiosk Ireland and it is located on 71 Irishtown, New Ross, Co Wexford.
It will be open 24-hours and the automated store will stock all sorts from snacks, crisps, chocolate, drinks, healthy snack options, meal deals, and even fresh milk.
Speaking to radio station Beat 102-103, the Digital Director – Jordan Casey – said he was inspired by his time travelling in South East Asia, where these premises are quite common. The shop and the new initiative is being led by New Ross local Tomas Young.
It will be interesting to see if this becomes a success and if the shop expands throughout Ireland into different counties.
