Fans and supporters of Dean Walsh will be left disappointed after his next scheduled professional boxing bout has been cancelled.

The organisers, JB Promotions, have pulled the whole event – stating that the reasons for cancelling the whole event was completely “out of their control.”

“Our boxers and staff are aware of the situation, but unfortunately, our hands are tied… We sincerely apologise to all boxers, staff, and supporters who were looking forward to the event” Jay Byrne of JB Promotions stated.

The event was scheduled for February 15th, and with two weeks to go, preparations would have been going well for Walsh in his training camp.

Wexford’s Dean Walsh, who was training ahead of his next fight on Feb 15.

Walsh, who was looking forward to the bout after an extremely positive debut on the War in Waterford card, will be eager to fix a new date on a new card.

The organisers noted that refunds will be available from the point-of-purchase.
