A popular pub in Wexford has added another element to their premises…
On Sunday, Sooner’s Bar, also known as Paul Morrisey’s Pub, officially opened their brand-new pool area. The pub is located in Cassagh, New Ross, Co. Wexford, attracting customers from New Ross, Gusserane, Ballinaboola, Glenmore, and Newbawn.
The new pool area consists of two brand-new pool tables for customers to enjoy and battle it out against each other. Pool has always been big in Ireland, but over the last number of years, it has really taken off once again. Along with enjoying a pint or two, customers can now engage in some friendly competition at this premises.
On hand to officially open the new pool area and to cut the ribbon was Wexford politician, Verona Murphy, who is now fulfilling the role of Ceann Comhairle in the Dáil.

As part of the official opening, a pool tournament took place to raise money for Cushinstown N.S. Parents’ Association.
