We need more kindness in the world…
The High Kings, a band who are well-known throughout Ireland for almost two decades now, have oozed in class after they invited a young Wexford girl to perform for them backstage.
Aoife Banville, from Taghmon in County Wexford, is still just a second-year student. But, after a video shared by Kevin Cogley started to receive traction online, The High Kings, specifically Darren Holden, reached out and invited Aoife to perform backstage for them after enjoying the gig at the National Opera House in Wexford recently.
Backstage, she performed ‘Belfast Love’ for The King Kings, the same song which received traction online just days ago.
Thank you so much to the @TheHighKings @darrenholden72 for inviting us back stage tonight at the national opera house to listen to Aoife Banville sing and play tunes for you all. You’ve made a young girls dreams come true. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much 👏😊 pic.twitter.com/OBLpvAUzcy
