Wexford Oscar Traynor team make it through to All-Ireland final

It was an excellent weekend for Wexford’s Oscar Traynor Cup side…

The Wexford Oscar Traynor team won 2-1 in the semi-final to make it through to the Oscar Traynor Cup final next month.

Wexford’s goals came from North End clubman, Eoin Rhodes.

They defeated reigning champions, Waterford, in the semi-final in Ferrycarrig Park.

Waterford went 1-0 up in the first half before Rhodes brought the game back level. An 84th minute goal from the North End sharpshooter was enough for Wexford to see it out for the rest of the match.

Wexford will now take on Limerick in the All-Ireland final. Limerick defeated the Mayo League on Sunday afternoon.

The venue, time, and date has not yet been confirmed. Confirmation of the fixture will be revealed on Tuesday, but the game is set to be played some time during the month of April.
