Wexford boxer back in action and will headline bill this weekend

A Wexford man will be back in action in the boxing ring soon…

Wexford town native, Dean Gonzalez Furlong, will be headlining a bill this weekend.

He will headline a bill in Alicante, Spain. He will be fighting at the Pabellon Municipal, Catral.

His opponent has also been revealed for the upcoming bill-topper. In the fight, which is scheduled for 6 rounds, he will be up against Jakub Laskowski, who holds a professional boxing record of 5-34-1.

It’s not the first time that the 22-year-old Wexford man has been trusted in headlining a bill in Spain. The popular Wexford man, who has been living in Spain, draws a big crowd and it’s clearly something that the promoters have realised too.

In his last bout, he also headlined a bill in Alicante, Spain, making it 4-0 in his professional boxing career.

The Wexford man will be hoping to make it 5-0 on his next time out to keep pushing up the professional boxing ranks.
