The Wexford Senior hurlers return to Leinster Championship action this weekend…
The Wexford Senior hurlers will host Offaly in Round 4 of the Leinster Senior hurling championship this weekend. The Wexford match against Offaly is scheduled for a 5pm throw-in.
Ahead of the game, Wexford GAA have issued an important notice for those who are travelling to the game.
Wexford GAA issued a notice on Thursday noting that an afternoon horse-racing event is also scheduled to take place at the Wexford Racecourse on Saturday, May 17th.
This will impact on traffic. Therefore, Wexford GAA are advising supporters to take note of this and to factor this event into their own travel plans, if they are attending the game.

Wexford’s match against Offaly is a crucial one. Although qualification is out of their hands, there are still two games to play – and depending on other results, Wexford could still qualify for the Liam McCarthy stages.
Offaly, who will be without their young sharp-shooter, Adam Screeney, have not won one game in the Leinster Senior hurling championship so far – but they will have earmarked this clash as one that they could win. Wexford, on the other hand, have won just one game in the Leinster Championship; they defeated Antrim in the opening round before losing out to Dublin and then Galway in the next rounds.
