Wexford’s Blue Flag beaches revealed for 2025

An awards ceremony took place in Curracloe in Wexford on Saturday…

The awards ceremony revealed the Blue Flag beaches from across all of Ireland. The awards were presented by Wexford TD, James Browne TD – Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage at the presentation ceremony.

Wexford have been awarded six blue flags for beaches across the county.

Wexford Blue Flag Beaches 2025:

Wexford County Council: Carne
Wexford County Council: Curracloe
Wexford County Council: Morriscastle Beach
Wexford County Council: Rosslare Strand
Wexford County Council: Ballinesker Beach
Wexford County Council: Ballymoney, North Beach

Meanwhile, two Wexford Marinas were also awarded with Blue Flag status.

Wexford County Council: Kilmore Quay

Wexford County Council: New Ross Marina

Additionally, the Green Coasts Awards were also handed out. These awards recognise beaches for their clean environment, excellent water quality and natural beauty. Unsurprisingly, Wexford featured heavily here again, claiming ten awards.

Green Coast Awards 2025:

Wexford: Cahore Point Beach
Wexford: Old Bawn Beach
Wexford: Culleton’s Gap
Wexford: Rosslare Harbour Beach
Wexford: St. Helen’s Bay
Wexford: Ballyhealy
Wexford: Cullenstown Strand
Wexford: Grange
Wexford: Baginbun Beach
Wexford: Booley Bay
