The old Enniscorthy cinema has finally been placed up for sale….
The former Enniscorthy cinema, located in a prime location in the heart of the town, has been closed for the past number of years.
The ‘old’ Enniscorthy cinema closed its doors to the public in 2011 after 13 years in business, nothing that business was on a downturn due to competition from other cinemas such as Arklow, Gorey, and Wexford town.
However, today, Wexford estate agents Sherry FitzGerald O’Leary Kinsella has confirmed the sale of the property.
Speaking about the potential sale, a spokesperson for the Estate Agents said it provides a unique opportunity with a lot of potential:
“What an investment opportunity, three screen cinema for sale only a few minutes’ walk from Enniscorthy town centre. The cinema has been closed for a number of years but it does provide a unique opportunity to acquire a 1016 sq. mt (10,936 sq. ft) building with loads of potential. There is a large lobby on entrance with a box office and a shop which leads to the three large cinema screen rooms. This is further complimented by a ladies and gents WC along with a disabled WC,” they said.
The commercial property has been advertised with an asking price of €400,000.
