Who can the Wexford footballers play in the Tailteann Cup quarter-final?

Wexford enjoyed a comfortable win over Antrim on Sunday afternoon in Wexford Park…

John Hegarty’s Wexford Senior Footballers now march on into the Tailteann Cup quarter-finals. The Tailteann Cup quarter-final draw will take place on Monday morning after the news at 8:30am on RTE Radio 1.

Wexford will be placed in Bowl 2. The only team that they cannot face in the quarter-finals is Fermanagh, who have been placed in Bowl 1, as they arlready faced each other in the group stages.

It means that Wexford will be drawn against either Kildare, Limerick, or Wicklow in the 2025 Tailteann Cup quarter-final. A derby clash against neighbours Wicklow would be the most appealing for Wexford, while a draw against Kildare would be the least favourable, given that Kildare are favourites to win the Tailteann Cup for 2025.
