Newtown Park Hotel in Wexford reveals all new look

Newtown Park Hotel, located at the junction of the N11 and N25 in Wexford, is pleased to unveil its extensive refurbishment, offering guests a stunning new destination to discover the beauty of the sunny South-East…

The standout feature of the renovation is The Courtyard Bar, a chic modern venue overlooking a private courtyard with a tranquil water fountain and lush terraces. Inside rich textures, bold design and interesting artwork create an inviting setting for everything from casual drinks and bites to evening catch-ups.

The food offering has been entirely overhauled with Executive Chef Tony Carthy and Head Chef Liam Kerrigan curating a vibrant new menu featuring fresh, local ingredients with global influences, offering a true taste of Wexford. Sample dishes that have proven a hit with guests include Creamy Kilmore Seafood Chowder, Spiced Roast Silverhill Duck and Pot Roast Redmond Farm Beef Brisket.

As part of the refurbishment, Newtown Park Health & Fitness Club has been completely reimagined, and now features a brand new weights room and cardio gym with state-of-the-art equipment, a 20-metre swimming pool and a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi.

The hotel’s lobby has also received a makeover led by local interior designer Liz Harte, creating a welcoming space that’s perfect for casual meetings and socialising, while a new coffee dock serves artisan coffee and sweet treats from 9:30 am daily, making it a must-visit for guests and locals alike.

Accommodation options include 110 luxurious and spacious bedrooms, including family rooms, superior king rooms and balcony rooms, ensuring a comfortable and stylish stay.

Families will find plenty to love with onsite facilities including two children’s playgrounds, mini golf and soccer areas, while those travelling for business will appreciate two modern meeting rooms that are perfect for events or corporate stays.

Located at the gateway to Wexford Town and just minutes from the coast, Newtown Park Hotel is an ideal base for exploring Ireland’s Ancient East, with Rosslare Europort, Curracloe Beach and Wexford’s lively town centre within easy reach.

Commenting on the hotel’s refurbishment, owner Colm Neville told Wexford Weekly:

“This isn’t just a hotel renovation – it’s a reinvention. We’ve created a space that’s full of life, full of flavour, and full of reasons to stop and stay a while in Wexford.”
