Wexford woman to represent Ireland at International pageant

A Wexford woman is set to represent Ireland at an upcoming International pageant…

Mary Mullally, who is originally from Enniscorthy, will represent Ireland at an upcoming International pageant in the United States of America.

She moved to Cork seven years ago with her family, after growing up in the Mile House area of Enniscorthy. Her next desintation is a bit different than her roots in Mile House in Enniscorthy though, as she’s due to fly over to Orlando, Florida soon:

“I will leave Cork on the 27th to London and then onto Orlando. I will be there for a week,” she told Wexford Weekly.

Expressing her pride, she told us “i am the only Irish lady taking part” before walking us through how the competition works and what to expect:

“We have 3 different rounds where we are judged in one interview. We talk about the work and events we attend while with our titles,” she said.

“The second round is ‘everyday wear’, where it’s an outfit you wear to event. Round three is our ‘evening wear; so that would be any kind of evening dress to suit us. We are also to have extra rounds in areas we’d like to take part in. I will be doing ‘denim and swimwear wear’ this year. I’m also will be talking part in a charity fashion show all proceeds will go to Polka Dogz Animal Rescue in Florida. The fashion show will include top USA designers.” she told Wexford Weekly.

The International Queen will be crowned at the end of the pageant. It’s not Mary’s first time travelling over or taking part in the International Pageant final either. She is the current holder Ms. Ireland Universal Global 24/25 title and last year, she was International 1st Runner Up 2024 at the same pageant in Florida.

The Wexford woman is looking forward to representing Ireland at this year’s International Pageant final in America once again:

“Wearing the crown and banner with pride and honor, I’m truly am so grateful to my director Size Hosfeld for giving me this opportunity to represent her system Miss Universal Global Pageant here in Ireland. It’s a system of sisterhood and family. I can’t wait to see all my Universal Global family and to meet all the new members,” she said.

Mary was named runners-up at last year’s festival, but she’ll be hoping to go one step further this time around. The final will take place from 28 July 2025 to 1 August 2025 at the Florida Hotel & Conference Centre.
