Wexford General Hospital prepares for Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2025

Wexford General Hospital is reminding people attending the hospital, it will be open as usual for people who need care during Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2025, which runs from 3 August until 10 August 2025…

The Hospital management is asking people to allow plenty of time when travelling to the hospital for appointments as there will be a traffic management plan in place.

Security staff will be present at the hospital’s entrances throughout the week and people will be asked to show appointment letters and/or referrals to gain access to the car park, which is reserved for those attending the hospital. People are advised all day car parking will not be available.

Speaking to Wexford Weekly, Linda O’Leary, Hospital Manager, Wexford General Hospital, said:

“We are expecting a busy week at the hospital during the Fleadh with a massive influx of people into the town and the surrounding areas.”

“We are asking people to plan their journey to the hospital during Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2025 as it might take a little longer than usual. Please remember to bring your appointment letter as it will make it easier to get access to the hospital car park.”

“Our management and staff also want to wish everyone a safe and successful Fleadh Cheoil 2025.”
